Sometimes, when you are completely stuck, the only way forward is to destroy.

Several times in my life, I have burned my work. There is something strangely liberating about watching something disappear. A ritual of letting go. A way of creating space for something new.

Still grew from this idea.

A sculpture created to be burned.

Light the candle. Let it burn. Let the work change.

And when the form is gone, perhaps something still remains.

A memory.

A moment.

An experience.

Still, within you.
