Horizon

The moon and stars dance across the sea as they dissolve into the horizon, that distant boundary where darkness and light merge together. During the Swedish winter, the sun lingers low beneath the horizon, lazily peeking above it for only a few hours before slipping back into darkness. In summer, the opposite unfolds, with light stretching late into the night as though the day itself does not want to end.

In Horizon, the form feels grounded yet searching, carrying something of the sea’s calm uncertainty and the vast emotional space of the Nordic landscape. Like the horizon itself, the work exists between states—between arrival and departure, shadow and illumination, earth and sky.
